Introducing is the sound materialization of the path and artistic essence of young Vitantonio Gasparro, who fixes the moment and spontaneity in the musical event through his vision of jazz
The trio proves to be the ideal formation to generate space where one can dare and experiment with rhythmic and melodic interplay solutions, which comes naturally thanks to the contribution of Giuseppe Venezia on double bass and Giovanni Scasciamacchia on drums: two jazz musicians with many years of experience and an unique touch.
The album consists of seven tunes composed by Vitantonio Gasparro, each with its own peculiarities, to which are added two standards. The standards included represent the most explicit reference to the study of jazz music that the author has undertaken in recent years. The two compositions for solo vibraphone recall a different aesthetic, not strictly jazz, making the project varied. All the original tunes have their own character, a story to tell: each one highlights the various facets, as well as the vibraphone trio, by Vitantonio Gasparro as a composer.
The result is a kaleidoscopic picture of an emerging artistic and musical personality, full of passion and revealing compelling sound paths.
